thrifty goodness!

I hit one of my thrifty shops this evening and found the cutest dress by marc jacobs from the "little marc jacobs" line as well as a beautiful perfectly tailored polka dot button down top, also "little marc jacobs".
Another find today was an adorable "flowers by zoe" dress, price tag still attached!  Scored on these items!  I didn't find anything for myself , I was on the hunt for a brown vintage "pleather" fitted jacket.  I had one many years ago that I picked up at a thrift shop in Providence, Rhode Island back in 1995.  I handed it down to some lucky chic about 5 years ago and I hope she is still enjoying it as much as I did! ;)
An upcoming project I would like to get working on when I thread my sewing machine (which by the way I stink at) is making a handkerchief  dress for my daughter.  My Nana collected tons of handkerchiefs throughout her life, everything from toile to horses, stripes to polka dots.  Best of all, she shares the same initial as my daughter so those monogrammed "A" hankies will be the perfect touch.  I am not sure if I will draw the pattern up myself or if I will use a vogue pattern from my Nana's collection, circa 1976!  :)
Leaving you with a photo of my Bella!
